A Maid for A Day is very conscious of your household environment (indoor air quality) and goes to great lengths to ensure safe cleaning systems for you the client and our staff performing services in your home. Our teams of two work very efficiently and will come to your home with all the necessary cleaning supplies with the exception of any polishes or special requests. Teams do basic spot washing, garbage collection, and organize and tidy as they go. On completion, our teams will always do a final walk through to ensure an overall pleasing appearance.

• We clean and sanitize your bathroom completely including tile walls, tub surrounds, shower doors and tracks, bathtubs, sinks, toilets, counter tops as well as everything on the counters, baseboards, cabinet fronts, mirrors and all chrome. All surfaces are dried and polished - we even fold your toilet paper.
  
  
• In your kitchen, all cabinet doors are wiped down. We clean the exterior of appliances, stove top drip pans, rings and buttons and inside the microwave. All counter and backsplash areas are cleaned and polished. All items on counters are moved for cleaning and the kitchen sink is cleaned and polished.
  
  
• Dusting is done throughout your home including venetian blinds, picture frames, window ledges, door frames, and all your furniture including ornaments and decorations. All dusting is done with damp cloths (we do not use feather dusters). All mirrors, glass doors, and glass table tops are cleaned, and baseboards are cleaned on a regular rotation.
  
  
• All carpets and hard surface floors are vacuumed (not swept), as is furniture ­ even under the cushions. Basic furniture pieces are moved on a bi-weekly rotation that alternates with the baseboards.


• Kitchen, bathroom, and entrance floors are ‘washed by hand’, and other areas are mopped or hand washed depending on the size. Specific arrangements can be made to hand wash all areas if you prefer. Our floor cleaner is safe on all surfaces, but if you have specific products to use on your floors please let us know.
